We are reluctant to face our negative feelings, and recognize them for what they are.  They are what give us balance.  It’s impossible to know happy without sad, disappointment without succeeding, frustration without figuring it out and making it through.  We can’t know dark without light, up without down, here without there.

We learn to appreciate both sides of the coin, when we have the chance to experience everything individually.
